Very nice!

Eager to see if costumes will become a new feature of festivities, promotions, quests, boss drops etc.

Now that I can actually wear festival hats 'for real', I'll have to go back and look through my range - certainly ups the ante for Wintersday.

ArenaNet makes a couple new skins and a UI adjustment and charges ten dollars for it.

Valve is rolling out updates for both the Demoman and Soldier, is doing it absolutely free, and also having a weekend in which anyone can play TF2 for free, probably with a discount for the game itself during that weekend.

Guess which company is doing better?

Hint: it's not ArenaNet.

Guess we've officially moved down the micro purchase route. Good to know GW is the same quality as games such as the shit that's advertised on the top banner of Guru....

When can people start buying gold trim capes? As soon as they do, someone give me a heads up.

Why isn't this available as a reward for a new quest (or two)? I'd rather have that than paying $10 for the costumes. Nice idea (one that some people have been asking for since GW released), but no thank you on having to pay for it.

hilarious joke update. the only good part was that festival hats can now be worn like masks and have stats, but they should have introduced that a long time ago. also, since I only started in 2009, I only have 3 to choose from.

And only one of those companies sees almost 100% of the profit from their game.

Meh, I doubt I'll buy the costumes since I already spent hundreds of plat to get armor sets I like. The costume/mask idea is cool though- it opens a lot of potential for future quests and events.

Anyone get a mini polar bear yet?
